Barangay 62 De-clogging Projects on All Canals and Drainage Systems
Since December 2010 upon the assumption to office of the newly-elected Barangay Officials of Barangay 62, headed by Brgy. Captain Emmanuel M. Calma, the Sangguniang Barangay Councilors and Barangay Tanods had undertaken numerous De-clogging and Cleaning Projects on all canals and drainages in our Barangay.
Barangay 62 Clean & Green Project and Solid Waste Management
It is our Mission and Vision to make Barangay 62 the Cleanest and Greenest Barangay in Caloocan City....in consonance with this, we have strived to come up with a garbage collection system, a segregation area/MRF(Materials Recycling Facility), a composting lot, and an orderly and sanitary transfer of refuse from our garbage carts to the garbage trucks collecting it nightly at the corner of P. Sevilla, 10th Avenue.
Compost derived from collected garbage and plant trimmings are then used as organic fertilizers for our vegetable plant nursery and Nipa Hut at A. Del Mundo Street, ornamental greeneries at the back of Caloocan High School and Gregoria De Jesus Elementary School and at the Barangay Hall at D. Aquino Street.

After Cleaning and Repairs on Canals and Drainages
For almost 8 years, students of caloocan high school and gregoria de jesus elementary school can't use these pathways at the back of their schools because of illegal settlers, open and clogged canals, and parked trucks paying monthly parking fees to the former barangay captain...now we're glad that it's greener, useable and functional once again minus the squatters, broken-down open canals and trucks....

Before the repairs...akala ng iba...illegal shanty ...yun pala napabayaang property ng barangay 62....These eye-sores in pictures are what's left of the previous barangay captain's legacy on ineptness, lethargy and conscious disregard for the state of barangay properties and use of public funds, considering that he served for more than 4 terms in this barangay......
